The International Center for Multidisciplinary Social and Humanistic Research is a scientific structure of Dunărea de Jos University of Galati, aiming to promote, coordinate and carry out the fundamental, theoretical and applied scientific research activities of faculty and doctoral students, in the field of humanities and arts, as well as in the field of social sciences.

The International Center for Multidisciplinary Social and Humanistic Research meets the need of Galați academic community to be in touch with researchers and specialists from universities around the world, to have access to and keep up with new scientific discoveries, to be known all around and to promote its products of scientific creation worldwide. In addition, the openness to the international world facilitates intercultural dialogue, through which UDJG becomes the protagonist of a socio-cultural metamorphosis, through the formation and dissemination of living cultural values, based on both traditional specificities and modern principles.
